Description
The lesion here is a thick-walled bilocular cyst containing in the left-hand side of the specimen,
granular amorphous debris. The cyst appears to open into a bronchus.
History
The history of the specimen suggests that this is an old tuberculous lesion, sterilised by
chemotherapy, and secondarily infected by a fungus.
